Our products are web based and run in a secure data centre in Christchurch (New Zealand) operated by digiweb. We operate a mirrored server environment with our backup server being updated by transactions from the production server in real time. The servers run on the linux operating system and data is maintained in a PostgreSQL open source database. All iBex products are developed in PHP. All database transactions are logged for security and integrity.
If need be, we can analyse the logs for any bookings requiring scrutiny.
Data is communicated between the applications and database using using industry standard XML based on protocols defined by the Open Travel Alliance.
Credit card booking screens are protected by our GeoTrust security certificate and we also provide the option of connecting your iBex booking system to a payment gateway for real time transaction processing.
