Scheduled Maint 16 Mar 2017

We have needed to arrange a scheduled outage of iBex for some necessary maintenance to our database. This will take place on Thursday, 16th March 2017 at 12 noon (NZT).  The planned outage will last for up to 1 ½ hours although we expect to require less time than this.

PMS Users

We strongly recommend to run Offline Vehicle Registration / Pax Checking app on Thursday morning before 12pm to have a backup copy of who is staying at your property. PMS users can access the app by going to: https://ibex.seekom.com/offline-checker#/login

Initial Login before 16 Mar 2017 12pm: When a you first load the app you will be required to enter your iBex username and password. After this you will be required to enter a pin.

Future Login (during scheduled outage): Next time you go to use the application you will see your name presented on the screen. Clicking on your name will then present the pin entry where all you will need to do is enter your previously saved pin.

Sales Channel Updates

During this time we will not be updating availability at your connected channels nor will we receive any bookings from them. In most cases we will collect channel bookings subsequent to the outage although there will be some bookings where this is not possible and you will receive email or fax notification about these from the channel. You will need to load these bookings manually into your iBex Property Management System (or your external property management system).

If you have any concerns about double bookings from channels during this period then you may wish to “stop sell” your busiest periods for the duration of the outage. If you are doing this, please ensure that you set your “stop sells” sufficiently in advance of the outage period to enable the updates to be received and processed by the channels before the outage starts.

iBex Integrated CMS Websites

iBex Integrated CMS Websites will not operate during the outage however you can switch your website to maintenance mode so that your websites visitors are not presented with error messages. In maintenance mode you can set alternative contact/booking options during the outage - such as phone and email.

CMSWebsite2Go websites not integrated with iBex systems will not be affected.
